Soap scum can be prevented by rinsing the bathtub or the shower area every time you finish using it. If it has already accumulated, then try using Comet or Ajax. Let the powder sit for approximate twenty minutes, after which it can be cleaned with water and scrubbed with a wet sponge. After cleaning the area rinse the surface with cold water.
Woodden Floors
Woodden floors should be swept, vacuum cleaned and mopped regularly. You can wash your floors with apple cider vinegar and warm water. However, do not let your wood floors get too wet and if they do get wet then do not let them dry on their own, do so with the help of rags or paper towels.
Carpets
Carpets should be House Cleaning vacuum cleaned once every few days and if there are stains that you cannot remove by yourself, it would be best to rent a carpet cleaning machine. Carpets should be washed once a month or so.
Windows and Mirrors
Windows and mirrors can be cleaned with paper towels or a rag and a little bit of window cleaning solution. Do not use a cloth towel to wipe your windows as it tends to leave a lint behind and using too much of window cleaning solution can cause your windows to become streaky.
Microwave, Refrigerator and Stoves
These are appliances that need to be cleaned only once or twice in a month. A normal cleaning solution and a wet sponge are enough to clean your microwave and your refrigerator. Cleaning a stove properly requires a good oven or stove cleaner.
